Happy Easter

I hope you had a great Easter! We colored eggs, hung out with family and ate a delicious Easter dinner (I didn't cook). Patrick got to participate in his first Easter egg hunt and of course he enjoyed all of the goodies he found.

I also really wanted to get some good family pictures. We have had them done in the winter, but I love all the spring colors! So I set up my tripod and it turned out that Patrick thought it was funny to watch me run from my camera to the blanket! So he was actually smiling...it was amazing!

Patrick's 1st Easter

Having a baby makes any holiday more fun and this was no exception.  I was so excited to celebrate Patrick's first Easter.  He just missed it last year (yes, he is turning one in just a few short weeks). I probably went a little crazy buying him candy he will never eat and movies he wont watch but I did include a new sippy cup and a few fun books.

I am trying to teach Tyler how to focus the camera.  If I want to be in any pictures, this will have to do.

He wasn't too happy about not being able to eat "his" jelly beans.  Sorry Patrick!

I attempted to make german pancakes.  My first time and they were very easy and delicious. It was a great Easter breakfast and a really fantastic first Easter for my baby.

hello sunshine

I am ready for warm weather and ready for the summer.  It seems like every other day is so different...one day its raining the next it's nice and sunny.  It's a little bit confusing.  I was looking at the calendar and didn't realize that Easter is in a week and a half! I couldn't believe it.

And I don't know about you, but I haven't gotten around to do my Easter outfit shopping yet. It is so hard to find a cute outfit, especially for boys.  It seems like girls have all the options and boys have none.  So I put together a little inspiration board, both for girls and boys, to help dress your little one the Easter.

All of these bright and fun choices are from Nordstrom.  I love Nordstrom, don't you?
