::weekend recap::

I am sorry that I have been a little behind on posting my recent photos.  I try to post something every Friday or Saturday but was unable to this weekend because my family was in town.  It was great to hang out with everyone.  It was filled with lots of food, laughter and good times.  I love that my parents are able to spend time with Patrick and my nephew, Grant.  They just love to hanging out with Grammie and Papa.

{upcoming events}

Since we are starting a new month, I have lots of fun things planned. Make sure you check back often and if you aren't already a follower, become one because I am going to have a giveaway in the next couple of weeks.  I am also going to be starting a monthly "what to wear" guide and I will be doing "photo-a-day challenge."  In the next few days I'll be posting a sneak peak of a recent photo shoots.  

I am anxious for February.  It's going to be a good month.

I have been asking my cousin, Emily, to let me take a few photos for sometime now but the weather has been too horrible to do anything.  Yesterday it wasn't too windy or too cold, so I called her up  and she was nice enough to let me play around with her and be my model for an afternoon.  

She has the most gorgeous eyes and was so easy going about everything, even when it started snowing and getting real windy. 

Etsy Shop | Deux des Amis

I am so thrilled to tell you about these two wonderful ladies that own an etsy shop call "Deux des Amis".  I had the pleasure of meeting both Tiana and Kaeli and they are super fun and their products are super cute! 
They sell "a little bit of everything" but the hats for newborns and babies are the greatest.  

I will be using some of Deux des Amis products in some of my upcoming sessions.

::mini session::

I am very excited to do these mini sessions for Rose.  I was lucky enough to do family photos for her about a month ago and now I will be doing a mini session for her every month.  She is pregnant with her second and I am anxious to find out what she will be having, either a boy or a girl, because I have lot of fun ideas for our next session.  

Bath Time

I try my hardest to get as many pictures of Patrick as I can.  He has grown up so fast, I sometimes can't believe I have an eight month old baby.

We had a fun bath time yesterday and loves splashing the water.

I have been so excited when I found out I was going to be able to take Karli's Maternity photos.  She is so beautiful and that little pregnant belly looks great on her.  Jeff and Karli are an extremely fun couple.  Working with them made the day go by so fast that it didn't even feel like I was working, at all.  I have known Jeff for a very long time and I am glad that I have been able to get to know Karli.  Both, Jeff and Karli, are going to make wonderful parents.

  

Family Photos

I have some of the cutest nieces and nephews anyone has ever seen.  Over the holiday break, I was able to get a few quick photos.  They are full of spunk and personality.  I love their energy and I love that they were willing to let me take photos of them...even if it was only for a few minutes.

This past Saturday I did a mini session for Jaxton's 6 month pictures.  He was full of smiles and so much fun.  I have loved watching him grow and he is going to be such a cute little toddler.  Jaxton is exactly two months younger then my little boy and I am excited for the two of them to be best friends.
