Winegar Family | Idaho Falls Family Photography

Happy Friday! I wanted to do a quick post and feature photos from such a cute family session I did before the holidays. I am always so lucky to have such cute little families with even cuter little ones to photograph.

year in review 2013

I know...it's the middle of the month, and I am really behind but last year was filled with a whole lot of great things! Patrick has turned into a little boy right before my eyes. It makes me a little teary eyed to think that Patrick can no longer be called "baby Patrick" thank heavens we have another little baby on the way to help my heart.

January: Last year we started off things right, with a trip to the Bahamas. I am dying to go back.
February: My younger sister came home from Chile, where she was serving a mission for our church.
March: We went to Disneyland for spring break, of course.
April: My husband graduated! Now we are both alumni of BYU-Idaho.
May: I moved to Washington for a few months, while Tyler goes across country to work.
June: We had a fun filled summer hanging out with grammy and papa and swim lessons.
July: Tyler finished work and came home! It was hard being away.
August: We moved to Blackfoot, Idaho for Tyler to start dental school. This is our little house.
September: Had a great year of work and got to photograph a few weddings over the summer.
October: We found out we're pregnant with baby number 2 and Patrick had a blast trick-or-treating.
November: No more diapers for Patrick. After many disgusting accidents, he is potty trained.
December: We spent a quiet Christmas hanging out with family and friends. This is Patrick with his cousin and he always wants to be holding Grants hand wherever they go.

Our Own Family Photos

My baby is sleeping and I have a huge pile of laundry that needs to be done and a long list of chores that I am putting off. Patrick's nap time is my time to get the things done that I need to do. I count on these 2-3 hours everyday! I am so grateful that I have been lucky enough to be so busy these last few months. My time has been filled with photo session, editing and being a mom and my blogging has been left in the dust. But I am leaving my laundry for another day because I am very excited to share our family photos! Tanae Sorenson in Pocatello did such an amazing job. Patrick is a wild boy and so difficult to get photos, but she was able to get his attention and make the whole experience fun for all of us!

Photographing a birth story is such an amazing experience and I am so glad to be able to give families their first photos of their newest member! It is something that you always want to remember.

My favorite photo from the whole session.

weekend with grammie and papa

It is always such a blast when grammie and papa come to visit and this weekend was the best! We spent the evening at Gardner Village in Utah watching all of the crazy ladies dressed like witches! The boys danced to the loud music and of course ate at Archibald's. I know that Patrick wishes that the fun would never end!
