hello hello!

I hope you all had a great weekend and an even better monday! I wanted to share some pictures of where we are now living. I loved hawaii and all our traveling but I have to admit, it is nice to have a place to call home. There is nothing like home, right?

I didn't realize how much I would enjoy living in the country and horses and open fields is all we see out our windows.

The great thing about having a big family is being apart of so many exciting moments and being able capture those moments for the ones that I love. My brother in law, Jeremy got the exciting news that he will be serving in the Lansing, Michigan mission and before he left for the MTC last week, we took just a few pictures.

brand new business cards

I have spent a lot of time designing my new business cards. They are an important part of my business and I had a little amount of space to really make an impact. I decided to ditch the regular rectangle and go with a fun square shape. 

I couldn't be more happy with how they turned out! They are bright, fun and simple.

Carlos // Senior Session

Since we have been back from Hawaii, I have been getting back into the swing of things. In Washington, I was able to take senior photos for a good friend of our family. We took a day and went to Seattle and snapped a few on the ferry boats and we went to a local park for a few more photos.

Back to work | packaging

I have been working so hard trying to get all of the little details of running a business in order. From a new email, a new website, new packaging and everything in between, I have been working to make sure it has the look and feel that I want my brand to have.

You may have noticed that my pricing has increased and some people have asked why I decided to do that. As I continue to grow my business, I start to be responsible for other expenses. I always want to provide my clients with the best possible work as well as products. It is so important to me that i provide good customer service, quality products, and excellent photographs for you and your family. I am investing money for you and I hope you will invest your money with me.

This is just a sneak peak at what my new packaging will be.

A much needed vacation

Between a family reunion, Disneyland and all the fun things to do in here, I have not had much time for blogging. I took some time off from my photography to refresh myself and restart. So, now I am back! But just to fill you in on whats been going on. It all started with a fun filled trip to Disneyland. It was Patrick's first time and I was bursting with excitement and energy from the moment we got there up until lunch. All of that excitement and energy disappeared when it was Patrick's nap time and not even a churro could soothe him. Patrick loved all the rides and even though the days were long and sometimes hard, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

We then headed south to San Diego for our family reunion. It was great meeting family members that I never had before and learn a lot about my family history. I also was asked to be the official photographer for the weekend and captured all the fun moments! These are just a few of my favorites.
