let's take the day off

Happy Monday! I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. 

I have been pretty busy working on taking my business to the next level. I am wanting to have a new blog and website done within the next couple of months, so I have been busy getting the look and style figured out. There are so many options...it is hard to pick one. But between spending hours on pinterest, which I consider work and taking care of my baby boy, we took the day off and drove up to Laie.

I never have pictures of me and my family. I am always behind the camera. So I decided to set my timer on my camera and spent 15 minutes trying to get a decent picture of the three of us. It was not easy.

My first, and I hope it is not the last | Rexburg, Idaho

I did my very first wedding in April and even though it was a stressful event, I learned so much! It was so incredible for this bride and groom to put their trust in me because a wedding is something that you want to remember forever and having good pictures is so important. I knew that it was my number one responsibility to create that for them and I hope I did. I put together a video of all the moments from their special day.

Tucker and Emily | Rexburg, Idaho

Before we left Idaho, I took this pictures of my husbands cousin and her husband. I have taken photos of Emily before and she was so great the first time, I had to do it again before we left.

Since we have been here in Hawaii my phone has been filling up with photos. It is a great way to share all the day to day memories and it has kinda become somewhat of a journal of our summer. Some of the apps that I have found that add beautiful bokeh effects and light flares are picfx ($1.99) has tons of effects and lets you layer looks to share on instagram. Another that is my favorite is lumie ($1.99) and this app has a variety of shapes and effects.

beach walk

We live in this small and empty apartment and since we will only be here for two more months, it will remain pretty empty. So we spend our time at the beach just a short walk away. At first, Patrick was not a fan of the sand or the ocean. But he is quickly learning how much fun it can be.

Happy Anniversary

It has been awhile since I have updated my blog. I am not sure where the time goes, but I have a lot of catching up to do. I hope that I can always have something interesting to post for you guys, because I sure do appreciate all the support.

Anyways...

Last month my parents celebrated their 29th year of marriage. I thought that it would be fun to go out and do a little photo shoot with them. We went to the waterpark by the ferry dock's in Bremerton and it was such an nice evening. It was fun to watch them be silly and enjoy themselves.
